No. The file is read and analysed entirely in your browser. Only your results are sent, and only when you ask for the report by email.
What file formats can I use?
PDF or Word .docx, scored identically. Re-save legacy .doc files as .docx first — many ATS handle .doc badly too.
Why must a CV be a single column with no tables?
An ATS parses a CV into database fields. Columns are read straight across and interleave, tables get flattened or dropped, and no text is extracted from images at all. Anything the parser cannot map to a field effectively disappears.
Will an ATS automatically reject my CV?
Mostly no. Auto-rejection is rarer than people think. What actually happens is ranking — recruiters read the top handful, so a CV that parses badly or matches poorly sinks below the point anyone looks.
